TreeFest was new for 2025; an exciting collection of wood-related activities outside on Tweed Green, right beside the Drill Hall. TreeFest will be back for 2026, and we will go forward ith TreeFest and the Woodmarket as partner events.
Peebles Woodmarket and Treefest wll take place on Saturday and Sunday 24th & 25th October 2026, at the Peebles Drill Hall and on Peebles Tweed Green. These events are FREE! Check on this website for periodic updates on our detailed preparations.
The Woodmarket is an annual opportunity for visitors to browse and buy hand crafted wooden products of amazing diversity, from wooden spoons to the dining table that you'll use them at!
At the Woodmarket the free hands-on exhhibiton of eccentric wooden machines, Mesmerising Mechanisms will return. Also for younger kids the ever popular puppet shows will go on several times.
And as always, the Woodmarket Cafe will provide beverages and snacks to keep the craft lovers going!
